J & K High Court Recruitment 2014 – 165 Junior Asst, Typist and other vacancies: Jammu & Kashmir High Court has issued a recruitment notification for the recruitment of Junior Asst and other posts. Applications are invited for filling up 165 Junior Assistant, Typist, DEO and Driver vacancies. Eligible and interested candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format on or before 10th March 2014. Total Number of Vacancies: 165 Posts

Name of the Post:

1. Data Entry Operator: 03 posts
2. Steno Typist: 29 posts
3. Junior Assistant: 129 posts
4. Driver: 04 posts

Eligibility Criteria:  

Age Limit: Candidates minimum age should be 18 years and upper age limit should not exceed 37 years for Open Merit candidates, 40 years for SC/ St/ RBA candidates, 39 years for Physically Handicapped candidates. Age relaxation is applicable.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates should possess Any Degree or equivalent with proficiency in English language and having elementary knowledge in Urdu, BCA for Data Entry Operator post, Any Degree or equivalent with Diploma in Shorthand and Typewriting, having speed of 60 W.P.M. in Shorthand and 30 W.P.M. in typing for Typist posts, Any Degree or equivalent and must possess working knowledge of Urdu for Junior Asst post and Matric with Valid LMV Driving License for Driver posts.

Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/- as application fee in the name of Principal Secretary to Hon’ble Chief Justice, High Court of J & K drawn on any branch of Jammu & Kashmir Bank and payable at Srinagar/ Jammu.

Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written examination and interview.
